With the economic uncertainty sweeping the country, many people resort to solely using their insurance for medical services and opt out on receiving any service if their insurance does not cover it. They are only willing to pay for out of pocket for such services only if they feel like their insurances it will cover it eventually, such as in the cases of having to pay for deductibles and/or copays. This has led many cash-based practices to suffer and many have even closed their doors.

This course will help the others who want to continue to service their location and implement insurance based services but don't know how to or if they will even cover the services you provide like weight loss services.

"Welcome to our course!

We are Orland Mata APRN and Jeila Pujols DNP and have been practice owners for 3 years. Starting off with cash based services, we quickly realized that solely cash based was just not feasible in our area and we quickly adapted and started accepting insurance.

We wanted to continue offering the services that we did such as weight management, IV therapy, and BHRT but did not know if insurance were going to cover such services.

After years of investigating, calling insurances, denials, and trial and error, we finally go the recipe pat down and have been able to grow our practice to 3 different locations and over $2.5 million in revenue yearly!
